Mar 01, 2023| NdFeB strong magnets can absorb weights 640 times heavier than themselves, which is where the title "Magnetic King" comes from. Before production, the company needs to order magnets. How about the quality of the strong magnets bought in the market? How to observe the quality of strong magnets?
The quality of a strong magnet is mainly evaluated from two aspects: product performance and product appearance.
1. Product performance
Strong magnets are uniform standards, and the indicators that companies need to know before ordering are remanence, coercive force, and magnetic energy product grades. Strong magnets of different specifications and sizes can be distinguished by Gauss, and the quality and performance of the magnet can be distinguished by Gauss. The magnet manufacturer tells everyone that the coercive force of a strong magnet can only be tested by a magnetic characteristic tester, and generally there is no such condition for the user to test.
2. Product appearance
General magnet manufacturers support drawing and proofing, such as Wanxuan Magnetics. After receiving the samples, you can observe the appearance of the strong magnet, mainly from the following five points:
(1) Pitting. It mainly depends on whether there are bubbles, scars, electroplating tumors, slag layers, and local excessive thickness of the strong magnet;
(2) Nibbling. The magnet manufacturer tells you that this is mainly to see whether the strong magnet has edge collapse, material residue, etc.;
(3) Scratches. Mainly observe whether there are knife marks, line marks, nail scratches, etc. on the strong magnet;
(4) Cracks. Mainly observe whether the strong magnet is cracked, etc.;
(5) Trachoma. The magnet manufacturer tells you that it mainly depends on whether there are pinholes, pores, particles and other problems in the strong magnet. In addition, it also depends on whether there are missing edges and corners around, whether the electroplating is intact, and whether the size meets the design requirements. .
