How To Distinguish Whether The NdFeB Magnet Is Demagnetized?
Mar 18, 2023| NdFeB magnet is an important part of the motor, mainly using its magnetic field to drive the motor to rotate. Now many companies will use NdFeB magnets in the production of motors, and companies will also find that when using motors, they often find that the speed is abnormal, and sometimes idling occurs. If other external factors are excluded, it may be a problem with the NdFeB magnet, that is, the demagnetization of the NdFeB magnet.
How to distinguish whether the NdFeB magnet is demagnetized? Share with you below!
1. The motor speed is obviously much faster than normal, and the no-load current also becomes larger.
2. Use a Tesla meter to directly measure the magnetic field center density of the NdFeB magnet; if the NdFeB magnet in the motor is demagnetized, the no-load speed increases, the load current increases, and the braking torque decreases.
3. If you have more than two motors, please test the no-load speed for comparison. If the NdFeB magnet in the motor is demagnetized, the no-load speed will increase a lot. Sometimes you can compare it by listening to the rotation sound of the motor, or folding the motor that is suspected of demagnetization. It is recommended to compare it with a good motor and compare the magnetic field of the magnetic steel. Gaussian at the center point.
4. Enterprises can judge by the no-load speed and current. After the NdFeB magnet is demagnetized, the current becomes larger and the speed increases.
5. Measure the induced voltage at the same speed. If the voltage becomes smaller, it means demagnetization.
6. If it is a tile-shaped magnet, the magnet manufacturer recommends analyzing and testing the Gauss values on the left and right sides and comparing them. If the difference is large, it has been demagnetized!
